Best book for ciminal justice beginers August 22, 2010 Mike C I have used this book as a reference in all of my criminal justice courses. That is how invaluable this book is. Schmalleger is on point with the topics and very informative for those new to criminal justice. One of my favorite resources. Index is easy to use and there is even the Bill of Rights. A must have if you are curious to know how the system works.
